Singaporean-British mezzo Fleur Barron has been called “a knockout performer” (The New York Times) and “a striking stage presence” (Seen and Heard International). Her intricate and intriguing recital program explores diverse perspectives on colonial history through music and poetry of the last 150 years. The songs she has chosen are about the search for identity at the height of Empire.
