Description
About This Performance
The fascinating Franz Liszt—virtuoso showman, composer, womanizer, and priest—and Frédéric Chopin, whose music (and tuberculosis) seemed to embody the “Romantic” ideal, will dominate this session, with a little help from Robert and Clara Schumann and their boy wonder, Johannes Brahms. We will see Liszt depicted by Roger Daltrey (of The Who), Julian Sands, Stephan Bekassy, and Dirk Bogard; Chopin depicted by Hugh Grant, Cornel Wilde, Piotr Adamczyk, and Kenneth Colley; and the 5’1” Johannes Brahms by the 6’ tall Robert Walker!
Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of wine and popcorn!
